17+ Years of Engineering Excellence
SwaaS started in 2008 building software for pharma companies. In that world, there's no room for error. Either you get it right, or people notice. That stuck with us.
Seventeen years later, we've grown into something bigger. Now we help VCs, Founders, and Enterprises - ideate, build and scale enterprise software solutions. We're 200+ people building products the right way with ownership, quality, and accountability. But how we work hasn't changed.
Good technology comes down to balance: Technology, People, Process, Time, and Cost. Getting that mix right is what separates great products from broken ones. It's also where our name comes from. SwaaS draws on Swaasam (Tamil) and Swasa (Sanskrit), both meaning breath, the steady rhythm that keeps everything alive. We try to bring that same steadiness to the products and the teams we build.
We've seen what happens when companies cut corners with offshore teams. Broken code. Missed deadlines. Teams building the wrong thing. We learned from watching that happen. So we built a different way.

MS Anand
Chief Executive Officer
Anand's career spans 33+ years of engineering, consulting, and company building, starting with aviation software at a TCS-Singapore Airlines joint venture before moving into financial services at Satyam, Barclays Capital, and Standard Chartered Bank.
At Barclays Capital, he led offshore development centres for FX Derivatives, Money Markets, and Commodities, environments where delivery failure was simply not an option.
He joined SwaaS in 2014 and has grown it organically and profitably over the past decade, while remaining hands-on in engineering. As CEO, he brings the delivery discipline of global financial markets engineering to every engagement.
